I’m back with some of the last deal of the year offers from Appsumo, and I’m particularly excited about some of the deals that returned for this period.
Paradoxically, I couldn’t recommend some of the “Tool of The Year” deals!

I don’t know exactly how many individual software deals were made available on Appsumo over the course of 2024, but out of the hundreds - maybe even thousands - that showed up on Appsumo, 6 of those have been presented as “Tools Of The Year 2024” - and are, appropriately, back on LTD sale until December 30th at Noon CT (1pm EST).

Some of these have been profiled in this newsletter within the last 6 weeks, and others are showing up here for the first time. Of the above, I’m particularly enthusiastic about Letterly (which I tested frontwards and backwards), and PickAxe, which I may have made a mistake in ignoring the last time.
Let’s go deeper into who should grab these tools before the deadline, and why.
LETTERLY - AI TRANSCRIPTION & TRANSLATION

I’ll start by saying … GRAB THIS DEAL! I’m going to try to max it if I can. Here’s why. This is a combined - AI app builder + AI marketplace platform. It has really strong bones, and as long as you’re not a “too greedy” Sumoling, you’ll probably be overjoyed with this deal as a lifetime deal offer.

There are some questions among Sumolings as to whether this is a Sumoling-unfriendly deal because some of the name plate features (example “URL monitoring”) is not actually offered as an LTD. The response / explanation from the company sounds confusing to me. I can’t recommend. Research yourself.
My Rating: UNSUREREACHINBOX - COLD EMAIL OUTREACH
One of the best ways to go from ambitious solopreneur or freelancer to successful martech-driven business (or marketing agency), is through effective cold outreach. Whether you choose to go with cold calling or with the much more scalable cold email strategy, you can start “cold”. ReachInbox is a tool for scalable cold email outreach. There are an awful lot of inexperienced buyer reviews, and a bunch of credible reviewers, even the highly positive ones - talk mention that it might still be a somewhat buggy platform. I can’t recommend. Research yourself, and keep the 59 day refund period in mind while testing.

This is a AI writing assistant for developing posts, CTA (calls to action), content and brainstorming, theme templates, and brand asset storage + management. You can also schedule and publish automatically. You also have access to a white labeled client portal, among other useful features. Manage up to 50 brands with the tier 3 plan, or go for less according to your needs.

IKI.ai - AI POWERED RESEARCH LIBRARY & AI ANALYST
Create a digital library of anything from the web, or with your own files. Everything from Figma files and PDFs to webpages and YouTube videos.Fetch info, absorb knowledge, ask questions, brainstorm ideas, and more with your own AI co-pilot. AI copilots are all the rage. IKI.AI is a digital library and AI copilot that can fetch info, absorb knowledge, research concepts, answer questions, and generate reports.
This AI-powered digital research assistant is returning to Appsumo - and this newsletter - as part of the “Tools of The Year”. However, many of the Sumoling reviews are less than enthusiastic.

PLUS MEMBERS only - I may or may not list ALL deals whose “Plus Access” is ending - meaning they’re leaving the website at that date) - as I’ll prioritize those in software categories or product categories that I’m more interested in, … or individual products I think are special for one reason or another.
AGILED - WHITE LABEL BUSINESS / PROJECT MANAGEMENT
This is a white label business management platform that has returned to Appsumo from time to time, and will probably return again. You can’t ever say for sure though. It has racked up over 800+ reviews in its time since it’s first appearance on Appsumo - with very many of those being 5 taco reviews!
Why I’m interested: I’m developing a project management framework to be deployed within an upcoming consultant certification I’m developing. As part of that effort, I’m conducting real world experiments with real businesses to customize a no-code app that runs their business. I’m considering Agiled, along with Blue, and Odoo as platforms that MAY be able to pull this off. I have highest hopes for Blue, but I’m considering Agiled as well.MAXIMISE - TURN ANONYMOUS SITE VISITORS INTO LEADS

These are high quality compared to some alternatives out there. Very worth getting and testing for yourself.

Whether you’re looking for an article writer, YouTube writer, URL writer, Amazon writer, or PPC ad writer, this tool can help. Other useful features include the ability to include your own FAQs and offline materials as text - as a knowledge repository for your brand. Your articles will also feature In-text citations for AI generated content.
Why I’m interested: Any strong AI writing assistant tool is fair game for me. The challenge is that so many low quality “AI wrappers” that don’t really provide much value are flooding the market. This is a highly regarded offering on Appsumo.
